Bio, in brief!
I was born in France in the Lyon region, where I discovered this fascinating profession during my studies in tourism and art history. After obtaining my diploma as a guide-interpreter and lecturer, I accompanied groups in France and Europe for nearly 12 years and developed my passion for travel before falling in love with a Swede and moving here in November 2010 to continue traveling with him very often even today.
Since then, after deepening my knowledge of Stockholm and earning my certified guide diploma, I have shared my deep attachment to Sweden and Stockholm with French- and English-speaking tourists, always with the same unwavering enthusiasm and boundless energy.
I am passionate about conveying what makes this country and its culture charming, including the history and anecdotes that have shaped today’s society. I adapt to both small and large travelers to make each visit a moment of sharing and exchange, filled with simplicity, friendliness, smiles, and laughter, always maintaining a positive atmosphere (no matter how mischievous the weather can sometimes be in Stockholm).
Even though Isabelle and I arrived in Stockholm around the same time, it took a few years for our paths to truly cross. We each have our own character, our preferred themes, and our own ways of doing things, but I believe what unites us is our sincere and deep love for the destination, our shared passion for conveying it, the enthusiasm and heart we put into our work, as well as the joyful and relaxed nature of our guiding.
Our shared nationality, our (not always identical) adherence to Swedish values, and our different life experiences allow us to meet the needs of travelers from various nationalities with the same professionalism and the ability to create bridges between different cultures, significantly enriching the experience of our visitors.
I am responsible for managing the English-speaking clientele at Stockholm à la Carte.
My various collaborations
I am an active member of FSAG (Association of Licensed Guides of the City of Stockholm), a non-profit organization founded in 1953 aimed at promoting the tourism sector in Stockholm while working to establish a strong professional identity for the city's licensed tour guides. We are licensed by the City of Stockholm.
I handle information and its dissemination among the members, as well as organizing certain events that we hold for the association.
SCANDIKIDSTOURS
I am responsible for the English-speaking clientele of Scandikidstours, a guided tour service in Stockholm aimed at children aged 6 to 12. I have also developed specific tours tailored to this audience and its cultural particularities.
