For those who want to discover Stockholm in a different way, a Swedish cooking workshop offers an authentic immersion into the country's culinary culture.
Held in a professional kitchen studio, this class allows participants to get familiar with the ingredients, techniques, and traditions that shape Swedish gastronomy.

Guided by a local chef, the session begins with an introduction to the typical regional products used. Depending on the workshop chosen:

• Savory: Participants learn to prepare a signature Swedish main dish, such as köttbullar (meatballs) served with mashed potatoes, lingonberry jam, pickled cucumber, and especially the sauce made specifically for the recipe. Other dishes may include rimmad lax (cured salmon), marinated herring, or other regional specialties.
• Sweet: Aspiring bakers are taught how to make traditional desserts like hallongrotta (raspberry cave cookies), kanelbullar (cinnamon buns), or many other treats you probably didn’t even know existed.

The workshop concludes with a warm and friendly tasting session, where everyone gathers around a shared table to enjoy what they’ve cooked. Participants also have the option to take home their culinary creations.
