This tour of Stockholm and its neighborhoods provides a comprehensive overview of the general layout of the Swedish capital in just a few hours and offers a deeper understanding of the city's various districts. Ideal for those with limited time to explore the city, this tour highlights five important neighborhoods of Stockholm that contribute to its unique character. After a brief walk through Gamla Stan, the old town where the city's history began, we'll explore Norrmalm, the modern city center, followed by Östermalm, the city's upscale district with a vibrant cultural scene.

Next, we'll visit Södermalm, the bohemian quarter of the capital, which offers stunning panoramic views of the entire city and is perfect for capturing memorable photos. Finally, we'll conclude the tour on Djurgården Island, the greenest of the 14 islands and essentially the city's lungs.

During this tour of Stockholm and its neighborhoods, we'll discuss history, art, architecture, as well as society and culture. This will give you a better grasp of the city's vibrant spirit, provide direct contact with Stockholm, its ways of life, and its different districts, and leave you with a more precise understanding of the city.

The tour includes walking and public transportation, covering all transport used throughout the duration of the tour. It is available in a 4-hour version (which allows you to explore all the city’s neighborhoods) or a 6-hour version (providing a bit more time in each neighborhood and a short break midway).
