Discover the gems of Stockholm on our “Must-See” tour, designed to explore the most iconic sites of the Swedish capital. This journey will combine walks through the city’s main neighborhoods with optional museum visits, providing a comprehensive overview of the history and culture of Sweden's capital.
We will begin with a stroll through the charming streets of the Old Town (Gamla Stan), where you can admire historic buildings with colorful facades and discover medieval architecture. Our guide will share anecdotes about the city's history and introduce you to iconic sites such as the Royal Palace, Stockholm Cathedral, and Stortorget Square, the historical heart of the Old Town. Those who wish may opt for a visit to the Royal Palace and/or the cathedral.
Next, we will see another iconic building in Stockholm, located near the Old Town: the City Hall. As the political center of the city, this red brick building with its tower and three crowns atop is also the site of the Nobel festivities. A presentation about the building, its functions, and its architecture will be offered to all participants of the tour, but those who have added it as an option can also visit the interior of the City Hall.
Finally, we will take a tour of the modern city, highlighting neighborhoods and landmarks such as the covered market, with the option to visit the Vasa Museum or the Skansen open-air museum. The tour will be tailored based on the chosen options. For longer distances, we will use public transport.
